Wilton’s Zagat review 2012

It’s “not the cheapest or the hippest” – in fact, it’s “wallet busting” and “unapologetically old school” – but for “peerless” seafood, “perfect game” and additional “superior” Traditional British  “treats”, this “clubby” 1740’s “national treasure” in St. James’s is “not to be missed”; “waiters as old as the cobblestones outside” and “waitresses in nursery-room frocks” “coddle” their clientele, including “the Tory party at play” and other “gentlemen” who wouldn’t dare “take their jackets off”.
