Zagat 2008
"You can feel the gout seeping up your legs as you cross the threshold" of this "old haunt" in St. James's, where for over 200 years a jacket-clad clientele has consumed "classic" British fare ("remarkable" seafood, "particularly fine" game) under the "starched" gaze of the "superb" staff; some find it "terrifyingly traditional" but the greatest grouse is the cost, which even advocates agree is "expensive-but keeps out the riffraff."
